TOURS

Tours to school groups, businesses, community organizations, and individuals looking to experience and learn about sugar kelp and it’s benefits and uses. Email: ATeamCoastal@gmail.com to arrange a tour. Tours occur in November through April each year and can be customized in length and content to suit your group needs.

COMMUNITY HARVEST DAYS
Each April/May, we sey aside a few days before the big harvest for community groups to “cut their own” kelp.

CORPORATE EVENTS

Working with local chefs and businesses, we can host a kelp education and sampling event at your workplace or home. We will offer education and materials about the benefits of kelp gardening and then prepare a kelp-based sea dragon lunch/dinner.

 RESEARCH

Our farm offers a site to conduct research to better understand the environmental benefits of kelp. We have active research underway to understand what sort of marine life is drawn to the farm, how much nitrogen and carbon is absorbed, sediment composition, growth rates, and more.
